SPICY HARD BOILED EGG CURRY

This recipe is an all time personal favorite for meals.
(For beginners : Take four eggs and boil it in water (enough to submerge it) for about 20 minutes on medium heat.)
Meanwhile you can prepare the paste for the gravy:
Blend the following into a fine paste in a blender.
2 medium onions
1 ripe red tomato
6 flakes garlic
1" piece of ginger
2 cloves
3 black peppercorns
1 small piece of Cinnamon
2 green cardamoms

Other ingredients: about 1 tbsp oil for cooking, 1/2 tsp sugar,1/2 tsp chilly powder and salt to taste

Garnishing : Fresh chopped coriander leaves.

Method:
-Shell eggs and slit the eggs on the 2 of the longer sides.
Smear with a pinch of salt,chilly powder and turmeric powder (available at Asian stores).
-Hear oil in a wok at lightly saute the eggs till the sides brown.Keep aside on paper towels.
-In the same oil,saute the masala paste till it changes color and oil separates.Add the Eggs and a cup of water.Stir and add salt,sugar and fresh chopped coriander leaves.
-Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes till done.(You can add a little bit of water more to adjust the consistency.)

Serve hot with rice and lettuce salad.
